Beach Holidays
Carn Towan is located 200m from Whitesands Bay and has its own path to the beach. The beach is a magnificent mile of sand which has been awarded Blue Flag status and is excellent for surfing and swimming with lifeguards operating throughout the summer. There is a beach cafe, bar and toilet facilities next to the car park in Sennen Cove.
There is a daytime dog ban on Whitesands Bay (10am to 6pm) from Easter to end of September. However on nearby Gwenver Beach dogs are permitted year round. It is also a popular surf spot and is quiter than Whitesands Bay.
The idyllic Portcurno Beach is located 3 miles away and is the dramatic home to the Minack Theatre.
The tiny Penberth Cove is 5 miles away and one of the stunning locations used in the recent Poldark BBC TV series.
