Forecast & webcams

Cornwall has a mild climate because nowhere is more than about 10 miles from the sea, warmed by the Gulf Stream. But the national forecast almost always shows a cloud over the county. It’s true - the prevailing wind will often push warm, moist air up over the high ground in the middle of the peninsula leaving the coast clear and sunny. If it’s not, try the other coast - it’s not far and probably has different weather.
